Ganjapreneur was built from the ground up as an online resource for legal cannabis entrepreneurs to keep up on policy news and learn about companies operating in the industry. Our goal was to match the quality of news and information they provide with a strong, clear visual identity, brand voice, and a re-imagined hierarchy of information on the website.

Comprehensive Website Redesign
Building on the existing website structure & assets, we brought organization and clearer hierarchy to emphasize revenue-generating features while helping visitors find the information they need.
We collaborated with a Washington-based licensed cannabis producer/processor to create a brand identity for their uniquely cured products. From concept to collateral, we developed a cohesive visual system and marketing voice to help Space Weed continue growing.
Struggling with low brand recognition in a highly competitive market, our client needed to build relationships with new cannabis retailers and educate retail employees in Washington about their unique products. Our goal was to develop a new identity and visual style for them that would highlight their proprietary, high-tech curing method. And thus, Space Weed was born!

Brand marks and icons were developed for multiple uses along with a sub-brand for the proprietary curing process.
Working within the client’s budget & design constraints, we developed a packaging system to display strains using the imagery of colorful nebulae and galaxies far, far away.
Pat Beggan provided retouched advertising imagery, studio packaging photography, macro cannabis strain photography, and location photography.
Custom Website Design
A fully custom single-page website was designed to guide and encourage retailers to learn & inquire about Space Weed’s strains, cultivation techniques, and unique curing process.
Several months after launch, Space Weed has reported excellent feedback on the new brand and packaging. You can find them on the shelves of licensed cannabis retailers throughout Washington State (if you’re over 21, of course).
For this project we partnered with Sara Galactica to help promote a city-wide celebration of cocktails and mixology in Bellingham. On a short timeline, we executed a multifaceted and highly successful campaign, delivering participating bars and restaurants some of their busiest nights of the year in the midst of a bleak PNW February.
Spread the word throughout the region using digital media, public relations, print advertising, collaborative partnerships and boots-on-the-ground.

Custom Event Website
Table Tent Design
To reintroduce Bellingham to their favorite bartenders, we enlisted the photographic aptitude of our co-conspirator Pat Beggan.
We developed a brand and visual style system that would appeal to the historical roots of cocktail culture and convey the alchemical mystique of “spirits.”
Viral Promo Video
Our video entitled “Even Brewers Think It’s OK to Drink Cocktails” garnered over 30,000 views ahead of Cocktail Week.
We also produced a series of video ads and shareable social media images to promote specific events, sponsors, and announcements.
Event Website Design
A simple mobile first event website including a seamless calendar integration to easily find cocktail week events happening.
We delivered immense value to event sponsors by engaging over 85,000 people via social media during the campaign leading up to the event, and we delivered one of the busiest weeks of the year to participating venues. Cocktail Week is currently gearing up for its next iteration, which is bound to be even more successful!
